Hypnotherapy uses hypnosis and the trance state to access the inner (unconscious) mind; to tap into inner resources to enhance and expand your attitude and develop skills; to give positive suggestions to change unwanted behaviours, thoughts and feelings; to access your ‘higher self’ for reflection or guidance.

and more...
What happens in a hypnotherapy session?
We begin by discussing the issue you’d like to work with and what your goals are. We’d discuss appropriate suggestions and formulate a program to best suit your needs; how many sessions would be required and over what period of time. You would then be gently guided into trance and, while you are pleasantly relaxed, the suggestions we’d previously discussed would be given to your unconscious mind . You may also be taught self-hypnosis so that you can continue the work on your own after the session with me. You will then be guided out of the trance back to full awareness.
How will I feel?
Perfectly normal! During the trance you will feel pleasantly relaxed, you are not asleep or unconscious; you will be aware of your surroundings but with a ‘can’t be bothered’ feeling, similar to when you first wake up in the morning and don’t want to get out of bed.
After the session you will be able to drive and do exactly as you would normally – the only ‘side-effect’ is that you will probably feel very ‘chilled’ and relaxed.
