I believe in synchronicity, that people and events in our lives are part of our learning, and so I have followed where life lead me. I have always had an interest in the human condition and our place in the greater scheme of things and have been fortunate in meeting, working with and observing a wonderful mix of people. I have had a varied working life: computer operator, legal secretary, public servant, assistant to an Aboriginal Land Council, media monitor, subtitler and actor.
In 2002, I travelled to Scotland. Soon after arriving in the UK, my interest in the mind/body connection was rekindled and I enrolled on an introductory course in Clinical Hypnotherapy. I followed on with the professional training to gain a Diploma. I began practising as a hypnotherapist in Glasgow, seeing clients with a range of presenting issues and I also worked as a volunteer therapist at the Marie Curie Hospice in Glasgow, working with cancer patients, their carers and staff.
In the course of my work I began to search for a means of accessing deeper levels of the psyche and creating a deeper and more holistic experience for my clients.
I was introduced to the work of Dr Roger Woolger and enrolled in his professional training for Deep Memory Process, completing the cycle in 2007 – a transformational experience.
After six years in the UK, it was time return, and I am now happily settled in the beautiful Coal River Valley of Tasmania... the journey continues.
